Lachanou beach

Lachanou is a beach very close to nene’s rental family apartments in Koroni. It is located approximately 6 km from the town of Koroni in the southwest part of the Messinian Gulf. The length of the beach is about 350 meters and the average width is 12 meters. The orientation of the coast is northeast, and it is protected from the winds. The beach is sandy, as is the seabed, while there are rocks at the edges. The sea has regular depth and deepens gradually, while the slope of the seabed is mild. It is not an organized beach, and you will need to bring your own supplies while access is via a rugged path. The waters are azure and crystal clear, and the coast was recognized as a swimming beach in 1991. Near the beach is the chapel of Agia Triada.

The beach of Agia Triada, also known as Lachanou beach, is located east of the homonymous village (3.5 kilometres from Koroni).It is a sandy beach of unique beauty, far from the crowds. It is not organised, so make sure you have the necessary things if you visit it. Access to the beach is via a path. The northernmost side of the coast starts from a craggy steep hill, which joins the sea, offering natural shade for a few hours. The church of Agia Triada is also located near the beach.
